The Day After.

I am surely composed solely of carbohydrates at this time.

And I am thankful for it. Thankful for the food, the company, and the conversation.

And for 80,000 links of plastic chainmail, cyanoacrylate glue, and fast-working antibiotics.

For my friends and family back home that put themselves out to make me feel closer to them this holiday, and for new friends out here willing to extend themselves to make me feel more comfortable.

And for whisky-infused German cake and port-aged cheddar.

These things make me happy. Who said I was a complex man?
