Here. And Now.

Sunday night, sunset, and Mother’s Day, to boot.

Draft of my proposal is due tomorrow and feeling a bit disjointed and sequestered from happenings and goings-on back Home…and the folks that it’s happening to. A rare but vividly present feeling, to be sure.

And nothing comforts and makes it better like a self-made Italian/Scottish pasta feast, a glass of lovely Spanish red, wafts of Nag Champa, phone calls from home, and Cranes.

It’s about being present, and accepting it. And loving the stimulus, all ‘round.

Do you know what I’m talking about?

That's pretty much my theory on the meaning of life.
Though of course I'm also in favour of putting a positive spin on stuff where feasible.

Sounds very groovy. You’ll have to pop over to mine with a bottle of red and we can have a sit by the river. It’s shame I live so close to this pretty part of the city and I hardly use it at all. 🙂

You live by the river? How lovely… aint nothing like sitting by running water (well midgie dependent of course)
Aren't we all terrible at not actively appreciating what we have right on our doorstep? It took me 12 years in Edinburgh to get round to visiting Craigmillar Castle and it's been a 2 minute drive away from my house for the last 7 years… ridiculous lethargy on my part 🙂

That sounds like a plan, seriously.
    And soon!

Oh, not done yet, my wayward friends from afar…
You *are* going to bring the wee furry man along with you, yes?
