Chapeaux pour le Chateau

Today’s torrent of rain was, in part, due to my copious amounts of drool, stemming from a successful adventure at Alternative Design Studio in the Mission. I must admit that I have an addiction, but nothing can make a gentleman feel more genteel…without the aid of soft lips or fingers tousled in errant locks of hair. The girls at ADS will have to do, but I’m in love, just the same.

I bring you the spoils:

Biltmore1 Biltmore2

Canadian Biltmore Fur Felt, a stingy brim number with a drastic angle and a full body. Oh, joy…

Borsalino1 Borsalino2

Imported Italian Dorio Gruppo Borsalino Felted Wool/Cashmere, the most sensual fabric stingy brim that feels like my noggin just melts into it.

Of course, I immediately creased down the brims, for that dastardly look. No upturned lids here.

It’s winter, and that’s the excuse to splurge. With the generous aid of merkur3’s gift certificate, I got out of there with most of my fingers still attached. Cheers, mate. You’re a sweetheart.

Soft as Torgi's little, furry butt. He likes to sit on it, you know…

Evan just mentioned that he saw a century-old hat store in SPAIN that was nowhere as cool or quality as our very own ADS. I imagine you'd wet yourself with glee if you actually lived near it these days…

I had a dream t'other night that I found a red velvet top hat that actually fitted. I have a huge head. I also almost cried when I woke up and realised it was all an illusion…
