Flutter and Flow.

This is an unmodified, unfiltered, digital picture of the sunset at Ocean Beach, on the western edge of San Francisco. When it’s not raining, this is a daily view. This time of year, sunset is approximately at 6:00 pm. I rarely take the time to capture this, and that’s a travesty that needs to be remedied. The colors are painfully breathtaking.

    Wow.
    The beach nearest you?
    This is fascinating.
When it rises on the east of Scotland the sun is a hazy, goes-right-through-you pink . Rising at about 6 these days, and we, too, sadly, don't go out and watch it often enough, though it's there for us every day.

Yes, that's right down the way from Le Chateau. We'll catch it in the evenings while you're here, over good tea and cool Pacific gusts.

    Wow,just…wow.
    That's so beautiful.
Like a sheer silk burnt velvet sheet draped across nature's bed.
I can almost see a bleary eyed head poking out amidst the cloud in the background.
Thanks for sharing such a wonderful image, what a wonderful thing to come home to 🙂

You're next in the queue for guests from afar, you know.

How can you ever leave it?

Because there's a pretty amazing sunrise happening on the other side of the world even as we watch this one go down. But yes, there's great conflict. We want it all.

It's beautiful. And you live nearby? Lucky devil!

Yes, only a few blocks away. There's a slew of houses in between, but that shouldn't be the obstacle that it is.

It'd be great to see you over here. Early August is a distinct possibility. Things at work are pretty hectic then, and we'll be doing the Dynamophone release party around then, but there's no reason why you couldn't be a part of it. Let me know as things develop!

It only comes in large sections, so you'll have to prepare some appropriate form of transport.
