Gamescape’s Change-of-Ownership Party!

GamescapeBanner

Hello!

This is a joyous invitation to our good friends and loyal customers: at long last, Gamescape North in San Rafael is under new ownership and it’s time to celebrate with an in-store party! Join us this Saturday evening for an open-house shindig with music, food, drink, karaoke, movies projected on the walls, and, of course – GAMES! Admission is free, and we’ll be hanging out until late schmoozing and playing, looking forward to seeing our old regulars and meeting lots of new people.

Gamescape North has been a staple of the Bay Area gaming scene for over a decade. Proud to be a hub of social and cerebral activity where people of all kinds can get together to have fun and make friends, we’ve long supported the idea of local community and a culture of gaming that spans all ages and dispositions. Now, the long-time management has stepped up to take Gamescape into the next generation! Stay tuned for big plans in the coming year and far, far beyond…

Bring a bottle of something you like, a bag of dice, and a friend – we’ll see you at the party!

Where: Gamescape North, 1225 4th St., San Rafael
When: Saturday, Jan. 20th, 5pm ‘til late
Why: Because the future is bright, baby!
Directions!

Yours with thanks and excitement;
Darren and Andre

Um, me. You haven't been reading, have you? 🙂
Talking about the San Rafael store, of course, but the other will be coming in time.

See what happens when I don't pay attention? Congratulations! Here's to you, ruling the gamers of the North Bay with an iron fist!
Will you be adding the ess eff store when Bob retires? He must be a million years old by now.

Hey, thanks for your tip o' the squid.
Yes, the other store is eventually in the plan, both legally and morally. Bob is a good ol' salt, almost but not quite ancient. Carrying on the tradition, you know.

I wasted more of my teenage years than I care to admit at the SF store.

Sorry that we will miss it, but being a parent has curtailed parties for a while.

Since I just added you (thanks for inviting me to and I appologize for the delay in actually doing so) I feel the need to comment – THAT WAS SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! Again again, please! 🙂 You guys are wonderful, amazing people and in spite of not "really" being a gamer I am glad to have found a community to claim to be a part of 🙂 Cheers and I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!

Nono, the pleasure was totally ours. So glad you enjoyed the celebration, and that you were a part of it. You and David are magnetic folk, and I speak for all of us at the store when I say that we hope we see you guys around more often – for gaming or otherwise. 'Til then!
